AE Milestone

1973-Present

Year 1973

Allied Engineers (AE) was founded by Mr. Subhash Khera after re-locating from the Canadian oil patch to India, with the sole aim of bringing the latest global oil and gas specialised technologies to India.

Year 1981

Initiative was taken to induct the Canadian oil and gas Well Stimulation technologies for ONGC & OIL by conducting seminars. This prompted ONGC to launch their Well Stimulation Services [WSS] department by procuring equipment in excess of 10 Million dollars as well as transfer of technology from our principals M/s Nowsco Well Services, Canada.

Year 1985

For development of ONGC Bombay High, our principal M/s Site Oil Tools, Canada and M/s Hughes Production Tools, USA provided downhole completion tools as well as liners.

Year 1988

Our principals, M/s Subsea International, UK provided Remotely Operated underwater Vehicles [ROV’s] and technology for repairing offshore leaks in Bombay High.

Year 1992

Extensive supplies of Fracturing, Coil Tubing, and Nitrogen Pumping units to Oil and Natural Gas Corporation [ONGC] Eastern Region and Oil India Limited [OIL], Assam.

Year 1995

In North East India, performed Intelligent Pigging (ILI) for over 1,400+ km of pipeline along with our principal M/s Pipetronix Ltd., Canada.

Year 2002

Supplied customized package for recovery of Coal Bed Methane through our principals M/s Crown Industries, Canada for Coal India through UNIDO projects.

Year 2004

For our Indian clients conducted SCC Susceptibility studies and System wide Coating Integrity programs totalling more than 3,400 km of pipeline.

Year 2010

Completed a 5 year program initiated in 2005 with Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) providing Integrity Management services and conducting Direct Assessment for more than 200 non-piggable pipelines. This wais part of the Total Pipeline Integrity Management System (TPIMS) program with Tuboscope Pipeline Services, USA and Kuwait Oil Company (KOC).

Year 2011

India’s 1st ever turnkey Direct Assessment (DA) -using ECDA, ICDA, SCCDA for non-piggable lines

Year 2012

Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) Research & Technology (R&T) appoval for ICDA success for a Wet Gas system, which led to AE’s multi-year ICDA contracts with KOC

1st Direct Assessment (DA) course was taught by AE’s Director at NACE International, Houston after being one of the lead co-authors for developing the course over the past 2 years for NACE.

Year 2014

OISD hired AE services to provide training on Direct Assessment (DA) to the Indian oil and gas pipeline operators

Year 2015

Ultrasonic Crack Detection In-Line Inspection for 1,000 + Km pipeline by our principals NDT Global, Germany (India’s 1st ever).

Year 2017

Introduced services for advanced integrated CP & Coating Surveys with eXternal Line Inspection (XLI) from PureHM, Canada. Already performed for 300+ pipelines of 3,500 + Kms

For our North American client, Trans Canada Pipelines Limited (TCPL) conducted SCC modelling and reporting for over 60 pipelines which total more than 4,000 km with yearly program over the past 9 years, since 2008.

Year 2019

City gas In-Line Inspection for Non-piggable pipeline along with our principals Quest Integrity, USA (India’s 1st ever)

Awarded a five (5) year PIMS (Pipeline Integrity Management Software) contract with Probabilistic Risk Assessment from ONGC for all related software and field services in Western Region, India

SCCDA performed for 400+ kms pipeline network of Net4Gas in Czech Republic

Year 2020

Turnkey ECDA, ICDA and SCCDA for 50+ non-piggable pipelines without CP system in place (India’s 1st ever)

Year 2022

Completed Turnkey Stress Corrosion Cracking Direct Assessment (SCCDA) program for Saudi Aramco Pipeline

60+ Asset Integrity Programs Completed
